- Power Supply
- DCA Multimeter
- DCV Multimeter
- Box with Three 2.2k Ohms Resistors
- Auto-Fuse with One Black and One Red Banana Plug Wire
- 8” Red Banana Plug Wires (4 per station)
- 24” Red Banana Plug Wires (3 per station)
- 24” Black Banana Plug Wires (4 per station)
- Cart
Cart needed. There is one in the storage closet, 1602, at the top of the Broida 1610 lecture hall in the South-West corner.

- Place all 12 power supply on the cart and distribute one per lab station. The power supply is always plugged into the outlets at the back of the lab tables, not the outlets under the front edge of the table.
- Place one DCA and one DCV ammeter, one resistor box, one auto-fuse, 4 8” red wires, 3 24” red wires and 4 24” black wires at each lab station. The 24” red and black wires should already be grouped together in a very loose knot (see photo below).
- On the auto-fuse, check that the red and black wires are plugged into the labeled input side of the auto-fuse (see photo of auto-fuse). Plug the other ends of the balck and red wires into the power supply into the center output. The Auto-fuse is created in house, see Auto-Fuse page on how to make it.

4. Check the battery status on all of the DCA and DCV multimeters, if the battery is low there will be the word “BAT” in the bottom left corner of the display screen. Both the DCV and DCA multimeters take one 9V battery and you need a phillips head screwdriver to remove the battery cover.
