¶ Lab 5: Oscilloscope Training (Sound I)
¶ Materials
- Oscilloscope
- Function Generator
- 2 IEC cords
- 2 x 36" BNC cables
- Microphone and Cord
- Tuning Fork (of Unknown Frquency) and Thumper
- Flasher and Power Supply
- Document Camera

Cart needed.

¶ Instructions
- Place oscilloscope and function generator on the table. Plug the IEC cords into the devices and into the power strips or wall outlets.
- Place the 2 BNC cables and the microphone with the cord on the table.
- Place the tuning forks and blocks on the table.
- Place the flasher and power supplies on the table.
*Remember to set up the TA station, as explained below.

- 1 Flasher
- 1 Microphone
¶ TA Set-Up
Set up a station for the TA in the front of the room. Place an oscilloscope and function generator on the table. Plug the devices in with IEC cords. Place 2 BNC cables and the document camera on the table.
